We are delighted to announce the eight companies selected to join the CreaTech Frontiers Growth Lab, a 10-week business growth accelerator delivered in partnership with Digital Catapult, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) as part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
Digital Catapult is a deep tech innovation organisation driving business value by accelerating the application of advanced technologies. They are part of the consortium that makes up CreaTech Frontiers and as part of the programme will be delivering funding calls and accelerators into the West Midlands to support the development of the creative technology ecosystem there.
Each participant will receive tailored support valued at £15,000, spanning finance, business growth, and coaching and mentoring, alongside access to the wider CreaTech Frontiers and Digital Catapult networks.
We received a strong and competitive pool of applications, and we are proud that the cohort selected reflects the breadth and diversity of innovation taking place across the West Midlands CreaTech sector. It is equally encouraging to see represented in this cohort a range of founders from different backgrounds, which speaks directly to our commitment to embedding equality, diversity and inclusion into everything we do as a cluster.
Without further ado, please join us in welcoming the following eight companies to the Growth Lab:

TeamsGlued, led by Rob Harrison (he/him), exists to help people understand themselves, understand each other, and collaborate with more confidence. Bringing together immersive VR challenges, behavioural and personality insights, simple and memorable animal-based profiles, and facilitated reflection and follow-up tools, the result is an individual and team development experience that is engaging, practical, and genuinely transformative, not another classroom session people forget the next day. Tinkr, led by Omari McCarthy (he/him), is an adaptive storytelling product that helps make bedtime easier for parents of kids aged 2–6 with personalised calming stories that adapt to their child’s needs each night and learn what works over time.

JODO, led by Rakesh Parekh, is the pre-production platform that brings storyboards, creative planning and production logistics together in one place. The platform combines a visual storyboard workspace, asset bank, frame editor and collaboration tools in a single environment, allowing creative teams to build, organise and review storyboard sequences more efficiently. Angry Swan, led by Scott Gibson, is developing Unbound (working title), an AI-powered video production platform that puts filmmakers back in control. Instead of typing prompts and hoping for the best, directors build a 3D scene in the browser, step into it using a smartphone or VR headset as a physical virtual camera and capture real human movement as the creative foundation for AI-generated output. The result is photorealistic, temporally stable video where every camera decision belongs to the filmmaker, not the algorithm. KLPS Ltd, led by Emma Mendez (she/her), is a UK-based deep technology company developing graphene-enabled smart textile sensing systems designed to integrate seamlessly into everyday garments. The company’s core innovation transforms underwear into a discreet, non-invasive interface capable of capturing physiological signals that current wrist-based wearables do not meaningfully measure. The platform is designed to scale into broader smart clothing applications across health, wellbeing, and performance, introducing a new category of wearable technology built around textile-based sensing. MyJams, led by Massimiliano Di Luca (he/him), brings the feel of live ensemble playing when other musicians are not available, enabling learners to practise by performing with responsive virtual partners that move, adapt and play like real co-performers.
